When I decided to sell my European registered Amel in Turkey, I also decided that I should use a European Broker. In two years with, two different brokers, I had no serious offers, and no one came to inspect the boat in Kas. I then decided to take a chance and list the boat with Emek Marine in Gocek.
Within a few months, and while I was in Europe, Riza had shown the boat to two perspective owners, and received a serious offer. Riza assisted me at all stages of the sale, negotiating the terms, receiving the deposit, helping with the survey, making sure all paperwork was correct and ensuring that the boat’s VAT paid status was maintained for the new owner.
